Engineering Leadership Symposium set for Friday

WHO: Distinguished speakers from universities, industry and national laboratories

WHAT: Speakers and guests will discuss engineering leadership in innovation, as well as the role of engineering education in producing leaders in engineering and other fields. Speakers include Ray Johnson, senior vice president and chief technology officer of Lockheed Martin; Win Phillips, vice president for research at the University of Florida; and Jim Traficant, vice president and general manager of Harris Healthcare Solutions. Former Florida Gov. and U.S. Senator Bob Graham will give concluding remarks at the symposium, which is being co-sponsored by the UF College of Engineering and the Bob Graham Center for Public Service.

WHEN: 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24.
