State brings unit to campus to offer licenses, other services

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Starting today through Sept. 3, students and others can get driver’s licenses, tag renewals and other services on campus from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles’ Mini-FLOW unit.

The Mini-FLOW, which stands for Florida Licensing on Wheels, will be set up on the ground floor of the UF Bookstore and Welcome Center on Museum Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Services offered will include driver’s licenses and ID cards (issuance, renewal, duplicates, address changes, and reinstatements), vehicle tag renewals, disabled placards, and emergency contact information updating. There is no appointment necessary.
