Performance art continues this week in Focus Gallery

August 26, 2010

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — A performance exhibition featuring Josh Cajinarobleto in his first solo exhibition continues at 1 p.m. today and Friday in the Focus Gallery, main lobby of Fine Arts Building C.

“Image, Music, Text (IMT)” explores the position of the artist in the gallery and his relationship to the viewer. Through the use of appropriated text, music and narration, the exhibition aims to twist around ideas of subjectivity and authorship.

Cajinarobleto is a master’s student in digital media.

A public reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Focus Gallery.
