UF employees receive Prudential-Davis Productivity Awards

Gainesville, Fla. — The Prudential-Davis Productivity Awards, an annual program honoring state-government employees throughout Florida, has announced its winners for 2010 — including 12 teams or individuals from the University of Florida.

In addition to honoring “innovation, creativity, and smart work,” the awards program recognizes individuals and work units that have adapted or implemented previous years’ award-winning achievements to create added value. Eligible for nomination are individuals, teams and work units, as well as entire state agencies or their divisions, regions, districts and institutions.

The program presents cash awards ranging from $200 to $2,750, as well as commemorative plaques, certificates of commendation and letters of honorable mention.

The teams and individuals from UF who have been identified as 2010 winners are as follows: the Distinguished Cash Award of $1, 250 went to the Fringe Benefits Pool Team, the Office of the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, the University Payroll Services, the UF Bridges and the Office of Human Resource Services.

The Notable Cash Award of $300 went to the Secure Grades Anytime Task Force Team, the Office of the University Registrar and the Office of the Chief Information Officer.

The Plaque Awards went to the Clinical Education Model Team, College of Dentistry; Linda J. West, Associate University Registrar, Office of the University Registrar; Beckie Preston, Associate University Registrar, Office of the University Registrar; Dee Dugger, Coordinator, Admissions/Registration 3, Office of the University Registrar; Nancy H. Baker, IT Expert, Office of the University Registrar; Sunny Balogh, Office Manager, Office of the University Registrar; Sharon O’Quinn, Assistant University Registrar 3, Office of the University Registrar; Diana Hull, Associate University Registrar, Office of the University Registrar; and Admissions Support Document Tracking System Team, Office of the University Registrar and Office of the Chief Information Officer.

The Certificates of Commendation went to the Study Abroad Program Automatic Annotation Team, Office of the University Registrar and Office of the Chief Information Officer.
