Swamp Scramble golf tournament to benefit HHP department

WHO: University of Florida students, alumni faculty and staff are hosting the inaugural Swamp Scramble golf tournament to benefit the department of tourism, recreation and sport management.

WHAT: The golf tournament is a scramble format and features a brand new car as a hole-in-one prize (on hole 2). A tournament reception will follow the scramble and will include food, a silent auction and door prizes. The money raised will provide funding for students to enhance their professional development. College of Health and Human Performance students have played a big role in planning this tournament by working closely with HHP faculty, staff and alumni. For example, HHP students are in charge of planning and implementing the tournament reception.

WHEN: Scramble begins at 1 p.m. March 26.

WHERE: Mark Bostick Golf Course on UF campus
