Local charity to host the second annual Think Tank event

March 5, 2009

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Tyler’s Hope for a Dystonia cure is sponsoring the second annual Think Tank on Novel Approaches to a Cure for DYT-1 Dystonia. The event will be held March 10 at the McKnight Brain Institute, 100 S. Newell Drive. Tyler’s Hope brings together the top researchers in the Dystonia research field each March for The Summit on Dystonia Research. This think tank provides a creative, egoless environment for researchers to combine their thoughts. The Edward V. Staab MD Memorial Grant, named in honor of a Tyler’s Hope founding member, will be rewarded to the most promising research project acting towards a Dystonia cure. The summit inspires and creates numerous grants and contract opportunities for research that continues to bring us closer to finding a cure for Dystonia.
