M.E. Rinker Sr. School of Building Construction hosts career fair

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida M.E. Rinker Sr. School of Building Construction will hold its spring career fair from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 17 at the O’Connell Center. This fair is open to all students in the fields of design, construction, planning, real estate, business and engineering.

The Building Construction Career Fair is an excellent way for students to obtain employment and internships. Companies attending the career fair range from general contractors, construction management firms, design-build firms, heavy civil, developers, residential, healthcare and educational companies. More than 100 companies and 400 students attend each semester.

Students interested in attending should bring plenty of resumes and research the companies ahead of time by accessing the building construction Web site at http://www.bcn.ufl.edu/jobplacement/.
