Remembering 9/11

Several campus events today will mark the seven-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Included in the events is a moment of silence on campus at 8:46 a.m.. Campus flags will fly at half-staff all day.

The Lubavitch-Chabad Jewish students group will host a “good deed marathon” on the Reitz Union Lawn from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A moment of silence will be observed at 12:45 p.m.

On the Plaza of the Americas, flags will spell out 9/11, and a 7 p.m. vigil will be held.
