Library West and Marston Science Library to extend hours during finals

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Library West and Marston Science Library are extending hours prior to and during final exams to meet students’ needs. Both libraries will be open 8 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. April 19 through May 1. Intersession hours will begin at 8 a.m. on May 2.

Other George A. Smathers Libraries branches, including Education, Architecture & Fine Arts, Music, and Journalism and Communications, will operate on normal schedules.

Starbucks will remain open during Library West’s extended hours.

The extended hours at both libraries are in response to students’ requests. This service is part of a pilot project to provide study space for UF students during the intensive periods prior to and during final exams.
