Background: Archer Family Health Care opened in 2001 in a small house in Archer. Since that time, nurse practitioner faculty and clinical staff have provided quality health care for underserved adults, children and families in Alachua County and surrounding areas. Archer Family Health Care has provided care to almost 4,000 different patients and provides more than 3,000 patient visits per year.

Most patients live in Alachua, Levy and Marion counties; however, others come from Dixie, Calhoun, Putnam, Gilchrist, Union and Clay counties. Eighty-five percent of patients have a household income below 200 percent of the federal poverty level, and more than 50 percent have no health insurance coverage.

The event is open to the public.
