Author David Sedaris to speak at Phillips Oct. 11

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — National Public Radio contributor and best-selling author David Sedaris’ last appearance in Gainesville sold out within weeks. He is returning to the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts for one night only, at 8 p.m. Oct. 11.

Sedaris will read selections of his most recent work for approximately an hour, followed by a question-and-answer session. The evening will also feature a post-performance book signing.

Special WUFT Pit Seating is $100; all other seating is $30 to $40.
