‘Blue Collar’ comic to perform at UF Sept. 21

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Comedian Ron “Tater Salad” White will appear at 8 p.m. Sept. 21 at the O’Connell Center to share his unique take on life.

White is probably best known from the “Blue Collar Comedy” phenomenon. From January 2000 through March 2003, he performed with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy in the highly acclaimed “Blue Collar Comedy Tour.” But in 2006, with two Grammy nominations, a new CD and DVD, his second one-hour special on Comedy Central and a New York Times best-selling book, he has established himself as a star in his own right.

General public tickets are $39.75, plus service charges. UF student tickets for this event are $26, plus service charges and are only available at the University Box Office.
