UF recognizes 52 faculty for outstanding achievement

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida acknowledged 52 faculty members for outstanding achievements at a recognition reception held earlier this month at the Harn Museum of Art.

Though faculty achievements are often noted in departmental publications or at tenure evaluations, they have not traditionally been recognized in a formal ceremony. The first of its kind at UF, the Faculty Achievement Recognition program was designed by the Provost’s Office to collectively celebrate these achievements.
