Teacher of the Year, Advisor of the Year awards announced

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — On April 16, the winners of the 2006-2007 universitywide Teacher of the Year and Advisor of the Year awards were announced at a banquet hosted by Faculty Development at Emerson Hall.

Universitywide Teacher of the Year awards went to:

• Gary Langford, associate director of bands, College of Fine Arts.
• Mike Foley, master lecturer, Department of Journalism, College of Journalism and Communications.

Universitywide Advisor of the Year awards went to:

• Peggy R. Borum, professor, Food Science & Human Nutrition, College of Agricultural & Life Sciences.
• Glenn Kepic, senior associate in Academic Advising, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences.
