The event will expose the audience to the issue of global warming through a 90-minute presentation with remarks from David, humorous clips from top comedians, clips from “An Inconvenient Truth,” a performance from Crow and dialogue with participants. One of the tour sponsors, Philips, also will attend the event to encourage students to make a difference by offering a free CFL bulb and encourage them to sign the Simply Switch and Save Pledge.

The “Stop Global Warming Tour” has traveled through the Southeastern United States on a bus fueled by biodiesel to urge college students to become part of the movement to stop global warming and demand solutions from themselves, their schools and their country.

The Stop Global Warming College Tour is sponsored by MSN, Philips, and Elle Magazine and supported by the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Information about the bus tour can be found at www.stopglobalwarming.org or stopglobalwarming.msn.com.
