GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida International Center will move to its new location in the renovated Hub on March 5. The Office of Academic Technology will be relocating to its new offices in the Hub over Spring Break.

The UF Computing Help Desk and Learning Support Services also will be housed in the Hub to provide GatorLink account services, administrative support with myUFL, assistance with WebCT Vista and Electronic Thesis and Dissertations. Technology services should be fully operational by March 19.

A new Application Support Center will offer personal extended consults on desktop applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe applications, as well as continuing support for Electronic Thesis and Dissertations and WebCT Vista.

The entire portion of the Hub west of the stairs has been remodeled. The renovation features videoconferencing suites, consulting, workgroup spaces supported with multimedia and videoconferencing, and an art and technology gallery. Access to charged printing services near the Help Desk, wireless access and walkup Internet access also will be available.

A rededication of the building and open house is planned for April.
