Stand-up comedian Lewis Black to speak at UF

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Stand-up comedian, actor and playwright Lewis Black will speak at 8 p.m. March 28 in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center on the University of Florida campus. The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 7:15 p.m.

Black is a weekly political commentator on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” He also travels around the world performing in comedy festivals like the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, The Montreal International Comedy Festival and The Irish Comedy Festival. In 2006, he received a Grammy nomination for his comedy CD, “Rules of Enragement.”
