Championship basketball game to be shown in O'Connell Center

WHAT: University of Florida students, faculty, staff and other Gator fans will gather on campus to watch the NCAA championship basketball game from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. All Gator fans are welcome.

WHERE: The O’Connell Center, where the game will be shown on four large video boards..

WHEN: Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. Monday, and tip-off is scheduled for 9:21 p.m. All four gates will be open, and concessions will be available. Doors will remain open until the beginning of the second half or until the arena is filled. Guests will not be allowed to re-enter if they leave.

CONTACT: Media credential requests for the O’Connell Center event may be made via e-mail to newsdesk@ufl.edu before 5 p.m. Monday. Please specify affiliate and the names of everyone to be credentialed as well as any special needs. The media entrance will be at the O’Connell Center loading dock. Media passes will be available at 6 p.m. at the loading dock door. Satellite trucks must park along Stadium Road and will not be allowed next to the building.
