News Conference: UF’s largest private gift to be announced

WHAT: University of Florida officials will announce the largest private gift in UF’s history. Details on the use of the gift and its impact will be discussed.

WHERE: Bryan Hall – Room 232 on the campus of the University of Florida, nearest to the northeast corner of the campus next to the intersection of West University Avenue and SW 13th Street. Enter at the main entrance to the campus at SW 2nd Avenue off of SW 13th Street.

WHEN: Friday, January 19 at 11:00 a.m. (news conference to begin promptly at 11)

WHO: Speakers at the news conference will include the following:

  • Bernie Machen, president, University of Florida
  • John Kraft, dean, Warrington College of Business Administration
  • Selcuk Erenguc, associate dean for graduate programs, Warrington College
  • Special Guest

PARKING:
UF classes will be in session on 1/19 and parking is very limited. Members of the media needing a special permit for Service Drive parking need to contact Lorraine Burton at (352) 392-1633 by Thursday, Jan. 18th. Name and vehicle type will be needed.
