College of Pharmacy open house

What: The University of Florida College of Pharmacy is holding its 22nd Annual Open House for students or anyone interested in learning more about the UF Doctor of Pharmacy, or Pharm.D., program. William Millard, Ph.D., executive associate dean, and faculty speakers will present information about the curriculum, admission requirements, financial aid, student life, career opportunities in pharmacy and other topics.

There is no advance registration. Attendees should plan to attend the entire program. The event will feature a tour of laboratory and teaching facilities. A question-and-answer session will be held and refreshments served.

When: 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15. Program ends at 6 p.m.

Notes: In addition to the UF campus in Gainesville, the Pharm.D.
program is offered at three distance learning campuses in Florida. Each campus will hold an open house as follows: Jacksonville campus on Oct.
10, St. Petersburg campus on Oct. 25 and Orlando campus on Nov. 7.
