September 29, 2006

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida’s Homecoming celebration continues Sunday with Soulfest, a multicultural and outdoor concert event which entails an evening of music, dance and art.

Soulfest will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. in the Dickinson Courtyard. The event is free and open to the public.

Soulfest provides the opportunity for the people of UF and the Gainesville community to come together and celebrate diversity. In recent years, more than 1,000 people have attended Soulfest.

“This year’s Soulfest will be the seventh year this program has been executed and each year, the bar is raised in entertainment and quality,” said Soulfest Director William Atkins.
