Importance of biomass is topic for March 28 lecture

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — An official with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service will talk about the importance of biomass on March 28.

The John Gray Fund for Excellence Distinguished Lecture Series will feature Ann M. Bartuska, deputy chief for research and development, USDA Forest Service, in Washington, D.C. The topic of her presentation is “Why Biomass is Important – The Role of the Forest Service in Managing and Using Biomass for Energy and Other Uses.”
