GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Students can learn more about internships and available jobs by attending the College of Health and Human Performance’s First Annual Sports Business Career Forum at the Florida Gym from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday.

Fifteen companies are attending the event along with keynote speakers Rich Clements from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Stephanie Edwards from IMG Academies. The career fair, located on the gym floor, is open to all students interested in sport management.

The career fair “helps the local sports organizations interact with our students and faculty,” said Sonja Lilienthal, assistant professor of sport management and organizer of the event.

Some of the companies attending are the PGA Tour, Gainesville Health and Fitness, United Soccer League, Florida Sports Foundation, Hoops Galore and IMG Academies.

Sponsoring the event are the Career Resource Center, Gator Sport Management Club, UF Student Alumni Association and HHP.
