Buddhist seminar offered today in Reitz Union

September 22, 2005

The Buddhists for Peace campus club sponsors a monthly seminar series that focuses on various Buddhist concepts in order to learn how these timeless ideas can influence daily lives in a positive way.

The format of the seminars includes a brief presentation on Buddhist history and practice, a main presentation on the central topic for discussion (which can include video), and finally an open dialogue with all the participants regarding the central topic. The seminars last about one hour.

The topic for this month is “The Power of a Single Voice.” This month’s seminar starts at 6 p.m. today in the Reitz Student Union, Room 357.
