Weekend convention to affect parking at O’Connell Center

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — A Jehovah’s Witnesses convention this weekend will affect parking at the O’Connell Center.

Here are specifics:

Friday, May 24

Approximately half of the O’Connell Center west lot (small lot next to McKethan Stadium) will be reserved for convention use.

The O’Connell Center main parking lot and Garage 7, large commuter Lot on Gale Lemerand Drive, law school east/west commuter lots, and Fraternity Row lots will be available for convention attendees and university students, faculty and staff on a first-come first-served basis.

Saturday, Sunday, May 25-26

The entire O’Connell Center north lot and garage will be available for convention attendees and university students, faculty and staff on a first-come first-served basis.

The large commuter lot on Gale Lemerand Drive, law school east/west commuter lots, Fraternity Row lot, engineering complex lot and the UF Bookstore and Welcome Center Garage will be available to convention attendees and university students, faculty and staff on a first-come first-served basis.
