GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Regional Transit System will reduce service on certain bus routes between Saturday and March 10 because of the spring break at the University of Florida and Santa Fe College.

Beginning Saturday, RTS will reduce service on City Fixed Routes 1, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 20, 23, 34, 35, 36 and 43. An “R” on RTS Route Schedules (printed and online) indicates buses that run whenever RTS reduces service on a route.

There will be no service on City Fixed Routes 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 38, 39, 46, 62 and 76. Later Gator and Campus service will also be suspended.

There are no changes in service on remaining City Fixed Routes 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 15, 24, 25 and 75, which will follow their normal Spring 2013 schedules. Paratransit service will not be affected. Reduced Spring Service will continue through Sunday, March 10.

Normal service will resume March 11.
