$10 UFPA student tickets on sale Friday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Tickets for University of Florida Performing Arts performances in September and October go on sale at noon Friday. With a valid Gator1 card, students can purchase single tickets for $10 at the Phillips Center Box Office or the University Box Office at the Reitz Student Union.

“As a result of the University of Florida Student Government subsidy, UF students have one of the best values in the country regarding pricing and accessing tickets for the world’s best performing artists and attractions,” UFPA director Michael Blachly said.

Performances included in this on sale period are Sister Hazel on Sept. 21, Sphinx Virtuosi on Sept. 30, Ragamala Dance on Oct. 2, Dailey & Vincent on Oct. 4, Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain on Oct. 21 and RIOULT on Oct. 25.

“Diversity and internationalization have been, and continue to be, benchmarks of UFPA’s offerings,” Blachly said.

Student tickets are limited, subject to availability and supported in part by University of Florida Student Government.
