Sexual Battery Suspect Arrested

At approximately 10:00am, Sunday, December 25, 2011, the University of Florida Police Department (UFPD) arrested Tommie Howard, III. Mr. Howard turned himself in to UFPD Officers without incident at the University of Florida Police Department and was subsequently transported to the Alachua County Jail after his arrest. UFPD obtained a warrant for his arrest on December 22, 2011, after forensic evidence conclusively identified him as the suspect in the November sexual battery of a UF student. Mr. Howard’s bond was set at $150,000.
