UF begins online master’s degree, graduate certificate in Web design, online communication

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications will launch a fully online, distance learning Master of Arts degree in mass communication with a specialization in Web design and online communication in January 2012.

Police arrest man in connection with robbery near Shands

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida Police Department and the Gainesville Police Department conducted a joint investigation and arrested a Gainesville man on Monday in connection with a robbery by sudden snatching on the University of Florida campus.
