Bone donation 1

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — In this photo taken April 12, 2011, Florida Museum of Natural History vertebrate paleontology collections manager Richard Hulbert displays the humerus bone of a 2-million-year-old short-faced bear. The fossil is part of John Waldrop’s collection of 40,000 to 50,000 vertebrate specimens, which he recently donated to the museum on the University of Florida campus.
