Dennis Thombs, Ph.D., an associate professor in the College of Public Health and Health Professions, discovered that people who mix alcohol with energy drinks are more likely to become highly intoxicated than people who just drink alcohol. The findings are in the April 2010 issue of Addictive Behaviors.
