Swirskii

This file photo released by the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences shows a predatory mite, Amblyseius swirskii, used in greenhouses to control some crop pests. A new UF study suggests growers may be able to use the mite against the chilli thrips, an invasive insect pest that preys on more than 100 plant species.
