53 Gators selected to SEC Academic Honor Roll

Birmingham, Ala. — League Commissioner Mike Slive announced on Wednesday that 53 University of Florida student athletes were named to the 2008-’09 Southeastern Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll. UF coastal engineer: FEMA should update flooding prediction methods

Local Rotary clubs now accepting applications for ambassadorial scholarships

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Local Rotary clubs are accepting applications for ambassadorial scholarships through March 13. Applications are accepted from successful, serious students and university professors who wish to study or teach abroad. Student scholarships range up to $23,000 for up to a one-year period.
