Power lines

Wind researchers test one of 50 weather monitoring stations using the UF hurricane simulator on June 17, 2008. Weather stations are positioned on utility poles along the coast of Florida and will collect wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure and other data once a hurricane makes landfall.
