All news media representatives attending the University of Florida speech by filmmaker Spike Lee on Feb. 1 in the O’Connell Center will be required to show press credentials in order to gain access to the media/press area.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — In celebration of February’s Black History Month, the University of Florida will offer a month-long schedule of events and festivities to pay tribute to blacks’ struggles, successes and scholarship.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Anthony Rapp, star of the musical “Rent” and author of “Without You,” will speak at the University of Florida at 8 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The doors will open at 7:15 p.m. and the speech is free and open to the public. After the speech, Rapp will sign books.
