Symbolic exercise

Tatianna Geliga, a journalism major from Puerto Rico, registers her disgust with societal prejudices by writing them on a concrete block on Tuesday. Her block and others with similar messages will be used to build a ‘Wall of Prejudice’ on the Plaza of the Americas this week. It will then be torn down Friday afternoon to symbolically demonstrate the destruction of such biases. The project is sponsored by the Inter-Residence Hall Association and the Department of Housing.
