Smoak and Dhople received the Horizon Award from Alumni and Friends for their contributions to agriculture, natural resources and the life sciences. Lester and Williamson received the Award of Distinction for their contributions to UF, agriculture and natural resources. Barrick is dean of the college; Scarborough is president of Alumni and Friends, and Cheek is UF senior vice president for agriculture and natural resources
