Get ready for a near future where the military uses seagulls for surveillance and homeland defense. They’re actually tiny unmanned aircraft developed at the University of Florida. The drones’ wings mimic the wings of a seagull - literally morphing or changing shape dramatically during flight. That allows them to maneuver between buildings - maybe even into rooms.
